I have been an avid Disney cel collector for almost 20 years. My collection consists of production cels, backgrounds and drawings from the features as well as the classic Disney shorts. Together with an associate who was trained in the Ink and Paint Department at Disney, we perform restoration of damaged cels and delamination of the adhesive laminates that were used by Disney in the early days of their arts program. These laminates can cause extensive cel damage over time if not removed. I also make use of an extremely talented background painter whose work is displayed in my collection.
